Well, it's a new year and I have a temporary replacement server up to host some of my sites, whilst I migrate to the new Solaris 10 system (the previous server uhum blew up - thank goodness for backups!). OpenVAS has rather ground to a halt (partly due to the server difficulties, partly my work schedule), but I've had time to play with some goodies in the mean time.
The fuzzer is coming along nicely, just ironing bugs out of the refactored threading model before a release can occur. Advisories are on their way, finally, including a rather interesting compiler introduced bug. Finally, I've been toying with an old idea, that of using Google as a hash search engine. My take of it is that Google should also provide the storage, and to show what I mean, I've knocked up Google Hash as PoC.
