In the period from 29th December, 2006 until now, Google Hash has recieved 263 direct hits for hashes it knows about. The most common hash is foobar which has been hit 15 times. The current top 10 is as follows:
The most common type of password is geek related (surprisingly ;)) which accounts for 87 hits, followed closely by IT related and then patterns. Given that there are 2454 words in the hash list and that a search for "site:www.nth-dimension.org.uk md5" currently returns 6,930 hits, it will be interesting to see how these statistics vary with time.
