In the process of a customer assessment I came up against the FWTK telnet proxy which allows connections from anywhere and presents you with an interface allowing you to issue commands to make connections from there to new hosts. Since this isn't your typical SOCKS or HTTP proxy there didn't appear to be any tools capable of scanning hosts via the proxy. My solution, an expect script which drives telnet to allow simple connect() style scans, can now be found in the downloads section.
