Well, the good news is that I have just tagged Fuzzled rc2.0 in CVS. Hopefully, it should be up on the Portcullis web site by the end of the week.

Changes:

  • Added Fuzzled::Helper::Forker and refactored Fuzzled::Protocol::* to use it
  • Added Fuzzled::Protocol::POP3 and Drivers/pop3.pl
  • Fixed major bug fix in how namespaces are returned and used, which was highlighted by format checks
  • Added timeouts to Fuzzled::Helper::TCP and Fuzzled::Helper::UDP
  • Added Fuzzled::Helper::UNIXStream
  • Added Fuzzled::Protocol::Generic, Drivers/generic.pl, Drivers/Generic/ftp.xml and Drivers/Generic/http.xml
  • Updated ../doc/WAFUTFF.pdf source
  • Added Drivers/Generic/generic.xsd (schema) and associated documentation for Fuzzled::Protocol::Generic

It's worth taking a look at the documentation, as the design has been refactored immensely, mostly due to the introduction of Fuzzled::Helper::Forker. Other significant things to check out are the support for UNIX stream sockets and my favourite, the Fuzzled::Protocol::Generic protocol, which allows you to define your fuzzer protocol in XML.
